Can I register on race day? Yes, race day registration is available on site. Price is the same as early registration.
Is there a gear check for my personal belongings? No. Please bring only what you want to run with and leave the valuables at home or in you car. Can we take photos at the event? Yes, feel free to bring cameras and take all of the fun, memorable photos you would like! Keep in mind, there is mud, dirt, and water throughout all of the race. Plan accordingly. We WILL have a professional photographer, Dudley Campfield, from Fast Foto, on site. He will be capturing your magical moments and making them available for purchase online. Can we dress up in costume? Absolutely! We strongly encourage costumes or other items of flair to add to our theme of fun and retro appeal. The race theme is 1950's but, 60's, 70's, and 80's attire are very much invited to grace the race! Be creative. Where do we leave our muddy shoes? You may leave your muddy shoes with us if you don't want to bring them back home. The shoes will be donated to a local charity called In The Image. |
Is there a minimum age limit for the race participants? Ages 6 and up are welcome to participate. The children will cover the same course, but only one lap = 1.5 miles.
Where/ When is packet pick up? Muskegon Family YMCA 900 W. Western Ave. Muskegon, MI : Friday September 13, 2013 3-6pm or 8-9am at Camp Pendalouan race day, September 14, 2013. Do we offer group rates? Yes! Teams for up to (4) people are $65, which is a $55 savings! Families of (4) $65, with $10 per ea additional child. Is it too late to sponsor this event? The entire race is held on rough terrain as we are able to cover many of Camp Pendalouan trails. There will be tires, and walls, hills, and water. There are narrow trails and balancing fun. A little crawling over and under a variety of obstacles will also be involved. |
